SUMMARY:In Conversation With… Hervé Borrion
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our first In Conversation session with DSCS Deputy Head of Department, Dr Herve Borrion on Wednesday 17th November at 2pm online. The event is based on informal chats between one academic staff member and the rest of the PhD students as part of an “In conversation” series. The idea is that once every month one staff member will join the PhD students on zoom in a conversation, where the PhD students get a chance to chat and catch up with staff members. It’s an informal conversation about life in research and academia in general specifically during COVID-19 and is currently replacing our “kitchen chats” in the department. This will give all PhD students an opportunity to talk about research with their peers in a more informal ‘friendly’ way. For this month, Dr Borrion has kindly agreed to take some time from his very busy schedule to be our guest.\n
