About Amber – I have a background in political science, having studied BA Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford University and MSc inCountering Organised Crime and Terrorism at UCL. My areas of interest are centred around radicalisation, fixated threats, and threat assessment. My PhD research involves evaluating the human and operational side of risk assessment processes, and identifying risk factors that distinguish violent from non-violent involvement in extremism.
